Hever Castle September 2022 – with Craft in Focus
This will be the fourth year that the event has been held at this location in September.
You will find my work in Marquee B Stand 12
After exhibiting at Hever Castle and Gardens in May – this is an ideal opportunity for you to take a second look at some of my work on display
Why not come along to Craft in Focus event at Hever Castle and enjoy the grounds as well?
With well established pieces for instance. Maybe one of the Candleholders first made as a design in 1993.
A piece from my lattice range or an object not yet designed or made (a few months to the show!) will be on display and available to be purchased.
Why not take a business card and make contact at a later date?
A specially designed piece or maybe order a product online you saw at the show as a gift?
A little information about the historic castle and gardens.
The Castle
Going back to the 13th century. Hever Castle was once the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII and Mother of Elizabeth I.
It formed the unlikely backdrop to a sequence of tumultuous events that changed the course of Britain’s history, monarchy and religion.
Its panelled rooms house fine furniture, tapestries and antiques
What is regarded as ‘one of the best collections of Tudor portraits after the National Portrait Gallery’ by David Starkey.
The Book of Hours Room beautifully illuminates two prayer books which belonged to Anne Boleyn and bear her inscriptions and signature.
The Gardens
Discover the magnificent award-winning gardens set in 125 acres of glorious grounds at Hever Castle. Marvel at the Pompeiian Wall and classical statuary in the Italian Garden.
Admire the giant topiary chess set and inhale the fragrance of over 4,000 rose bushes in the quintessential English Rose Garden
